Story
I’m gearing up to take on the Big Three Trek once again — walking 150km in three days from Sydney to Newcastle to raise funds for the Mark Hughes Foundation. This will be my third time doing the trek, and every step is in honour of my father-in-law, Robbo, who we dearly miss every day.
Since my first walk, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside brain cancer warriors and their families — people who have become close friends and continue to inspire me with their strength, courage and positivity.
Cancer impacts far too many families. More recently, we also said goodbye to my sister-in-law Cheree, a reminder of why research, support and awareness across all cancers matters so much.
This trek will be tough, but it’s nothing compared to the battles faced every day. I’ll be pushing through to the finish line at McDonald Jones Stadium — just in time for the Knights vs Tigers game 🏉
If you’re able to donate, I’d be incredibly grateful. Every contribution helps fund vital research and support for those who need it most. Thank you for your support — wish me luck! 💙🥾
